NOT Ex-Library. No ISBN. Very Good condition in black/crimson-lettered hard boards, 7 3/4" x 5 1/2" x 210 clean pages of excellent history told as a four-act play. Channing Pollock was a leading playwright in the early days of the 20th Century. He is best remembered by a quote from the brilliant Dorothy Parker on her review of another Pollock play, when Ms. Parker said "The House Beautiful is the play lousy". Written with the view that the WW I sides, especially the civilian sides, were much alike. The play was disparaged by the masses as favoring the devil Germans. A clean volume, tight and firm. A bit of wear at the bottom extremities. There is no dust jacket. No looseness, No mustiness, No smoke smell. No names. No other markings. NOT Ex-library. NOT Remainder-marked. A splendid and timely find.
