By the influential French architect, Charles Letrosne (1868 -1939), chief architect of Civil Buildings and National Palaces, first chief architect of the Paris World Exhibition of 1937, and officer of the Légion d'Honneur. A most attractive book featuring arts and crafts details in French buildings. Volume I covers schools, town halls, and hotels; Volume II focuses on rural homes and farms; and Volume III concentrates on courthouses, banks, post offices, and transportation buildings. Each volume has thirty mounted color plates and sixty in black and orange ink, along with many drawings in the tex Letrosne was the first chief architect of the Paris World Exhibition of 1937. Labels dulled, but a very attractive, charming set, nevertheless.
