Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. No Jacket. 1st Edition. Very scarce and rare. Included is a letter from the Archbishop of Bombay thanking the Reverend Father and dated August 17th, 1954 for three books that were presented to him including this one,it is a detailed letter signed and is attached to the opening page and there is also a paste on label on the reverse side. All pop-ups and movables in very good condition. With 20 pop-ups all intact except for on page 8 that have fallen off and need to be glued back on but the pieces are included. Some light browning due to age on pages but all text is clear, there is tape on the inner binding of the last two pages where previously it must of been loose and a school library stamp on the top of the contents page. Burgundy covers with gilt tile on cover and spine.
