Dust wrapper, not clipped, and designed by Edward Ardizzone, as is the endpapers. Dust wrapper a little frayed with some small tears. The book cloth cover has some foxing and inside there is foxing along the foredges and along the top edge which has crept into the top margins of the text in places. A very good copy. Printed just after the Second World War when life was trying to get back to normal the book states: Here is something new in holidays, taking the reader back to the holidays of olden times and then in the footsteps of our first holiday-makers on the continent in the 17th Century . Size 20 x 13.5cm (8 x 5 inches).
