Very scarce novel about about two immigrant families who settle in the southwestern Michigan farmlands in the mid-1800s, and whose lives - and those of their progeny - are intermingled for more than a century. Near fine in very good dust jacket, some chipping and edgewear, slight foxing to interior of dust jacket, remnants of something that was pasted to rear end paper then removed.
