With essays and ancillary material by Dezso Derecsenyi, Klara Csapodi-Gardonyi, and Ferenc Hervay. Content includes studies on the Chronicle and its period and history, description of the Chronicle, sources and arrangement of the text, and descriptions and interpretations of the illustrations of the Chronicle. Appendices include notes, geneaology of the Hungarian kings and houses of Arpa and Anjoy, a comparative chronology, topography of the Chronicle, and list of names and places. The illuminated Chronicle itself is an excellent facsimile with rich color and clear images. The original Chronicle is manuscript # Clmae 404 in the National Széchényi Library, Budapest. VG+/VG+ but art school ex-lib. with usual marks; some age toning and tape marks to end papers.
