Condition: Fair. No Edition Remarks. 143 pages. No dust jacket. Red cloth with gilt lettering. Volume I. Black and white photographic and illustrated plates. Book has a slight smoky odour. Light foxing and moderate tanning to pages. More prominent to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers. Plates remain bright and clear.Light cracking and creasing to gutters but binding remains firm. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has light sunning with soft crushing to ends. Lettering remains bright and clear. Book has a slight forward lean.

Includes fold-out chart and photographic plates. Pages are lightly tanned with former owner's inscription to reverse of chart. Occasional thumb-marking present throughout, with a few small nicks and rub marks along text block edge. Minor dog-eared corners to corners of chart. Plates are bright and clear, with slight tanning to edges. Boards have light shelf-wear with minor corner bumping and mild crushing to spine ends. Moderate sunning to spine and edges. Gilt lettering is darkened. Book has a notable forward lean.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Facsimile. Two-volume Set; A clean, sound set of two books, which are facsimiles of the 1937 British original. There is a fold-out map at the front of the first volume and a fold-out chronological table at the front of the second volume. The books look completely unused. The boards are a little scuffed (the set was issued without jackets), but the binding is tight. These are not large books, and can be shipped together anywhere in the world without a surcharge.
