Sheet Music
Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. Vintage sheet music, from "Flying Colors", a 'new' Howard Dietz revue, presented on Broadway in 1932, starring Clifton Webb, Charles Butterworth, Tamara Geva, and Patsy Kelly. Words and music by Howard Dietz and Arthur Schwartz. Colorful art-deco cover art work graphics feature drawings of dancing chorus girls and b/w photos of the stars. The show was known for an innovation during the performance of this song - "Louisiana Hayride" at the end of the first act, when a film was used by the designer Norman Bel Geddes to give "focal depth to a fluid and enrapturing vista" to the finale. Measures 9" x 12" with 8 pages. Discreet stamp of the music store on the third page. Last few pages have a tiny piece missing near the top of the right hand side of the pages; this has no impact on what is printed on the pages. The cover remains in excellent condition with no flaws or marks of any kind. SALE PRICE.
