Condition: Good, Some Edgewear. Publisher Logo on Title Page. (illustrator). 2- First Edition, Stated By Publisher. Red cloth binding with black titles on spine. Some fray on lower edges, minor, and at upper corners, also minor. Feps are marked with a 'consolidated libraries' stamp, and some pencil notaitons. The was some sort of ex-library copy, but doesn't have the pocket, just some stampings. There is a Doubleday logo on the title page with ship and colonial figures. The copyright page states first edition. The book is overall aged. Paper is aged, and there are a few thumb marked pages. Overall sound copy without dust jacket. Compelling, an easy read.
