Published anonymously. Bound in period quarter brown speckled calf over opaste-paper boards with vellum corners, spine with contrasting red and black morocco labels and gilt titling and ruling. An exceptional copy with only minor wear. According to Querard La France lit.; Barbier, Dict. des ouvrages anon.; and Michaud Biog. univ., the work of the preface to the supplement of the work itself, pub. in 1802, ascribe it to l'abbe Duclos and C.A.
