Book First Edition Signed
Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. First Edition, November 1944. A fairly typical used "Good" copy. Clean, tight and bright. Solid and straight. Slight edge wear and some end paper foxing as it came via Florida. Spine faded a bit lighter. The book has a lengthy inscription by the author and also a typed, signed, letter on Northwestern Univ. letterhead to the owner from the author mentioning that it is VE day, May 8, 1945. Also included is a clipped review of the book from (I suspect) a NW univ. News publication of some sort. 418 pages which the author comments as "being more academic than the reviewers make it". It surely is a first as the letter alludes to the second Printing to be out soon. Signed by Author(s).
