Edge-creasing to laid-in addenda. Otherwise, a very good to near fine copy - clean, bright and unmarked - of this scarce genealogy and family history. Samuel Filbert arrived in Philadelphia from Germany in August, 1737 with his wife Susanna and son Johann Thomas, settling in Bern Township, then Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Their six children and descendants have lived in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and elsewhere. The family name survives in England as Filbert or Philbert, and in France and Italy as Philibert. Follows descendants of several Filbert family lines.
