Condition: Good. 1863. No edition remarks. 592 pages. No dust jacket. Quarter bound brown leather with marbled paper covered boards. Protruding ridges to spine with gilt design to spine, and lettering to label. Pages are lightly tanned with mild foxing throughout. Mild thumb-marking present. Notable folding to pages from p.585-92. Moderate cracking to front hinge. Ex-libris plate to front paste down. Moderate foxing and staining to end papers. Pencil inscription to front end paper and title page. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with bumping and splitting to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Heavy rubbing to front board with chipping to paper. Mild tanning to front board and spine, which has mild crushing, tears, and wear to ends. Small tears to paper on upper edge of boards. Small droplet to joint. Leather has some pealing and scratching, mainly to corners.
