No dust jacket. James Nelson Fraser [1869-1918] served in the Indian Education Department and was Principal of the Training College in Bombay for Teachers in Secondary Schools. He was joint author of THE POEMS OF TUKARAM and he wrote about 80 pages of the present work, which James Fairbrother Edwards [b. 1875] incorporated in this work which he finished. This work is a biography of the Maratha Poet-Saint, Tukaram. The Foreword by Narayan G. Chandavakar is, as Edwards suggests, "a worthy contribution to English-Marathy literture" in its own right. Signed by Author(s).
