A very good copy, the binding square and firm, the corners with some bumping, the edges with slight rubbing and discolouration. The contents, with spotting to the text block edges, are otherwise clean throughout. Complete with the rubbed and nicked dustwrappers which has some small chips and the spine and flap folds and toning to the extremities, particularly to the spine. Not price clipped (9s. 6d to the front flap). Scarce in the dustwrapper. A curious satirical fantasy novel which imagines the lives of Noah and his family before the flood as a sharp parody of modern society, complete with fallen angels and flying carpets.
