Book condition: Cover lower corners area have some fade and surface wear; an upper corner is moderately bumped; top of spine hinge area is faded and wrinkled at top--to the middle of the spine, fading disappears down 1.25 inches close to the hinge, title lettering is obscured ('Fr' in From, 'Hel' in Hellen); there is a half inch narrow vertical break in the rear hinge cover; the front fly is missing--there is still a blank page before the pretitle page; book edges have darkened slightly and the bottom edge has some scattered small tan spots; text throughout is an off-white very pale tan tone; former owner has tipped in four descriptions of books on the blind on the rear end papers. Otherwise, book is complete, sound and in serviceable condition.
