Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. First Edition. The original pulp version in solid vg condition. Typical, age-darkened pulp paper. Covers have some edgewear, particularly at spine ends, virtually no chipping or tears to covers and unusual thus. A solid very good copy. Originally this work was written for hire at the request of Harry Houdini. Later Ted Annemann wanted to publish it as a supplement to THE JINX. Nicely illustrated throughout with drawings and printed on good paper. Non-sleight of hand card magic. Interesting Dunninger ad for Houdini magic book and magic props included in this original and left out of the 1972 reprint.
