Condition: Fair. Venezia 1829 Alvisopoli. On Artistophanes, Catullus, Religion and Morality in Dante, Madame Colbert, etc. 12mo., 239pp., Nice copperplate portrait of author as frontispiece, papercovered boards with vellum spine. (Paper on boards is later and not original; vellum backstrip is original and in excellent condition but no title is present on spine.) Complete in one volume. Fairly Good, front inner hinge cracked, rear hinge tender but not yet cracked; end papers toned and brittle and chipping on edges; very light foxing throughout text. Binding secure.
