Softcover. Condition: Very Good-. Dust Jacket Condition: No Dust Jacket. Forty volume set (complete). Limited Edition; each volume #606 of 15,000. Each volume signed by the respective tribal leader. First volume issued in 1971; last volume in 1976. These volumes exhibit sunning, as is typical of this set. Sunning along the spines and a bit along some cover edges on about half of the volumes (the silver lettering on the spines appear unaffected). Several of the volumes also show sunning to varying degree to the front covers (the worst of which are shown in the attached images). One front cover is quite sunned, and shows an outline of a bookend once holding the set. About half of the volumes show no (or very little) sunning. A couple of the volumes have light bumps at the corners. Otherwise, the covers are clean. An ink-mark and a small stain on the top edges of the pages of the Mescalero Apache volume. Light stain on the page top edge of a couple of additional volumes. Else pages clean. This is a heavy set; Priority and/or International may require shipping over and above standard costs. ; 28A.

Paperback. Condition: Near Fine. First Edition. A 40 volume set, issued in paperback, each volume signed and numbered by a tribal elder. This set was assigned serial number 5370. There are also 23 four page pamplets that came with some of the volumes, as well as a signed personal letter from the editor John Griffin to the subscriber of this set. All books are in nice shape with only light shelf wear. Because of the weight, shipping price for priority mail and international will be more than ABE quote. It will reflect the true mailing cost. Media mail in US is same as quote.
