Dated 1912 on lower main title but printed from British plates and showing no date on copyright page, thus indeterminate as to edition/ptg., but a likely 1st. 163 pp., illus. w/ 8 color plates. A decent copy with relatively minor faults. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Book.

Slight wear to edges. Spine is loosened and faded with bumping to top and bottom. Gilt decoration to the front board. Decorative endpages. Previous owner's mark. Front inner hinge is cracked but holding. Frontispiece is loose with marginal closed tear. Some signs of foxing to the textblock. 160 pp. 8 colour illustrations. 8 plates. All plates present as listed. Previous booksellers small sticker to inside front board. There are small ink marks to the FEP. All the colour plates have tissue protective sheet. Some of the internal illustrations have been coloured in by previous owner. When securely packed this item will weigh in the region of 728g. Postage within the UK remains at £3.
