Paperback. Condition: Very Good. First edition. Stapled pamphlet. The program guide for the 4. bis 6. Februar 1983 Internationales Festival Phonetische Poesie held in Wien. 20 pp plus insert. Text in German. Introduction by Gerhard Ruhm. The program consists of a two-page introduction followed by a single page each for each participant in this important event. Each with a small photograph followed by a brief biography and a statement of their contribution to these performances. Very good condition. What makes this copy so unique is that it has been either signed or inscribed by nearly all of the participants including Henri Chopin who must have been added to the festival after the fact because there is a separate sheet laid in regarding his bio. The only participants who have not signed this pamphlet are Dominik Steiger and Francois Dufrene. This program comes from the library of poet Jackson Mac Low and several of the inscriptions (Cobbing, Chopin, Jandl, Leonard, Lora-Totino, Williams and Schnebel) are inscribed to Mac Low. A wonderful group of rare signatures in the field of sound poetry.
