Intriguing letter from the office of William Randolph Hearst written his social secretary on his part congratulating a former Dominican national upon receiving American citizenship in 1947. Typed and signed "E. L. Forsythe" on the San Simeon stationary dated: July 28, 1947. Followed by 2 letters addressed to an individual in the American Immigration and Naturalization Service by the widow and trustee of the Harrison Forman Collection, Sandra Carlyle Forman, on her formal New York City stationary dated respectively 1982 and 1983. Both are typed and signed by Ms. Forman, and each concerns the welfare of the same person mentioned in the Hearst letter 34 years earlier. Each is fine. (O).
