Includes 4 facsimile early pull-out maps of Boston and the New England area and coastline from early explorers. Also an 18 page article, "Soldiers in King Philip's War", illustrated, continued from a previous volume on the Narragansetts Campaign to the close of the "Great Swamp" battle. Bound in marble boards, three-quarter leather, 5 compartments, raised ridges. 436 pp. Marble endpapers, all edges marble. Antique ex-library. Unfortunately the spine is cover is clear plastic tape. Almost 1" loss of leather spine material at top. Solid copy with usual library stamps. Maps have tears at folds; repaired at rear with archival tape. Solid book in good condition. Scarce.
