    Hardcover. Condition: VG-. Library boards (black buckram with burgundy booktape quarter-binding, white print titles to spine) with original endpapers and pages rebound within, 12mo. x+202pp. VG-. Ex-academic-lib. with bookplate to front pastedown, pocket and checksheet rear endpapers, stamps (some early 20th-century period, some embossed) to blank and title pages. Edgewear around free endpapers with ffep partially attached to title page and tape reinforced. 1" tear off and perpendiculat to fore edge title page away from all print front and back. Binding tight and very strong, pages mildly toned but overall bright and clean with only marks several titles checked in contents. Very unflattering review included (not original sheet, but downloaded from NYT of 29 June 1901).
