    Condition: Very Good. Book measures 8 1/4 x 6 inches. Collation, 233,1pp, alternate pages numbered so [ 468pp], engraved title page. Bound in early half calf, marble boards, flat gilt bands, gilt title lettering, full marble edges. Binding light rubbed, some minor abrasion wear. Binding in good clean firm condition. Internally, neat repair to top margin of first 4 leaves, slight loss to engraved title, minor light period writing along bottom margin of title, 4 leaves have some fox staining, slightly heavy. Pages in good clean condition. A very nice copy. Size: 8vo.

GENOA MDXXXVII (1537) + Ristretto delle Historie Genovesi di Paolo Interiano In Lucca per lo Busdrago MDLI (1551) 2 Opere del '500 stampate a Genova sulla sua storia, quella della Liguria e della navigazione, di Cristoforo Colombo e la Scoperta delle Americhe e altro ancora. La prima opera, qui proposta in prima edizione con la grandiosa effigie dello stemma della cittą al frontespizio, č la pregiata fonte storiografica sulle vicende genovesi di Agostino Giustiniani (1470-1536, rinomato geografo genovese) ; la seconda opera č la popolare cronistoria di Paolo Interiano (XVI sec.), stampata a Lucca per Busdrago con la suggestiva marca tip. al colophon raffigurante un dragone con volto antropomorfo. Ambo i volumi giungono con legature antiche in mezza pelle, con testi in buonissimo stato di conservazione. Si segnalano piccoli fori ai piatti dell'opera di Interiano ; lievi difetti e foxing all'opera di Giustiniani.
