Hardcover. Condition: Fair. Shows considerable wear. Buying as an antique. Child has written "Dr. Johnson" lightly in pencil on the front cover and again twice on the title page. Other pencil notations on front and end pages but not in the text pages. Hinges are cracking but holding firm.

Lightly scuffed covers with some age darkening and very light foxing; otherwise clean, square; tightly bound; bright, clean interior; few leaves with short (1/2 inch) closed tears at fore edge; leaves remain supple.
