Each are large 4to and bound in cloth. A complete set, all numbered 851 of 2500 copies. Each have the Surrealist book plate of Andrew Murray, the Director of the Mayor Gallery in Cork Street, London. Some, not all, have the ink stamp on endpapers, Property of Herbert B.Beidler Architect on the endpapers. Each volume illustrated by renown artists of the day, namely Arthur Szyk, Hans Bendix, Rafaello Busoni, Edward Ardizzone, Fritz Eichenberg, Everett Gee Jackson, Fritz Kredel, Robert Lawson, Edy Legrand, William Moyers, Sylvain Sauvage, Henry Pitz, Edward Shenton, Ervine Metz, Malcolm Cameron. They are all in excellent condition, the boxes a little worn, as to be expected. A Very good set.
