Book
Hardcover. Condition: Good. Hardcover. Bound with leather spine and corners, brown cloth over boards. This copy has been reinforced with alternating strips of electrical tape and brittle clear tape. The original gold stamped title shows on the spine, but there are 4 horizontal strips of the black tape across the spine and crossing the leather on the cover. Both hinges are tight and both interior gutters are solid and secure (so I'm not sure why anyone added the tape). Title page dated 1883. 662 pages. Folding map present, colored, also a bit foxed. Binding tight throughout, which is unusual for this thick book. This the the original 1883 edition, not a reprint. Please email with questions or to request photos. If you see a photo beside this listing, please be aware that it s an ABE Stock Photo (whatever that is) and not a photo of this book. This is a heavy book, so some extra shipping may be necessary.
