Vintage reference photograph shot on location for the 1947 film, showing a camera crew at the center of Snake River in Idaho. Printed mimeo snipe affixed to the verso. From the archive of film historian and author Joel Finler. Two men vie for ownership of a woman sentenced to fourteen years of indentured servitude in the colony of Virginia. The winner gallantly frees the woman, but the loser tears up her contract of freedom, kidnapping the woman and taking her west for life on the frontier. Shot on location in California, Idaho, Pennsylvania, and New York. 10 x 8 inches. Very Good, with small spots of fading on the center of the image, and glue darkening on the mimeo snipe on the verso.
