Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. No Jacket. History. Four volumes are in Fine condition for their age. The cover of volume three is not perfect (very small amount of water? damage). All the books are very bright and clean. There is also a "supplemental chapter of recent events by Julian Hawthorne." The volumes begin with the English conquest of Britain in 449 and continue through1815 and Napoleon. This is an old set but in near perfect condition. Proceeds of the sale of this book support environmental education and restoration.
