Frontis (loose) A Legend of the North Woods from a painting by J.R. Seavey. Introduction by Theodore Watts-Dunton dated 20th August, 1913 at The Pines, Putney Hill. Author's Foreword relates Johnson's death request that Watts-Dunton write "something about her" , and explains the choice of the book's title. List of illustrations (8); 'The Cattle Thief' is also loose but present as are the other six. Biographical sketch also includes B/W potrait of poet with faux signature. 95 poems. The last 32 pp. after the poem, 'Good-Bye' are titled Miiscellaneous Poems and are all of a later date than the ones preceeding them. 166 pp. Maroon boards have faded gilt text and elaborate decorations on both spine and front panel.
