Limited Edition (200 copies) of this reprint from the California Historical Society of which 50 were given to Roxburghe Club of San Francisco members. This copy is not numbered. It includes a brief inscription and is signed and dated by the author in 1947. The inscription is to Harper and Florence Goff. Harper Goff was an artist, musican, and actor who was best known for his groundbreaking work on many projects and movies of the Walt Disney company. The pages of this copy are clean, unmarked, undamaged and only moderately toned. The front cover has a few minor marks or patches of light soiling and much toning around its periphery. The back cover has the same toning pattern with more marks and soiling than the front cover. The booklet will be packed with a backing card, bubble-wrapped and shipped in a sturdy, flat box to ensure safe transit. Inscribed by Author(s).

An interesting read on the originator of the cable car system of San Francisco.
