Condition: Very good plus. Later edition of this miniature chapbook, number 9 in the first REDFIELD'S TOY BOOKS series. Rosenbach lists three other titles in the REDFIELD'S TOY BOOK series, but not HISTORY OF DOMESTIC ANIMALS. Its tiny but well-printed illustrations make this book a little gem. 3'' x 2''. Original pictorial wrappers, saddle-stitched. One full-page wood engraving, with five smaller illustrations. 8 pages, advertisement to rear wrapper. Mild soiling to rear wrapper. A few tiny spots of soil to leaves. An attractive copy.
