Delightful B&W illustrations by the author highlight his story of Lokoshi that is set in Alaska. "so far north that only a few people live nearer the North Pole. " For Lokoshi, a successful seal hunt means food, clothing, and shelter. On the way, the hunters build an igloo for warmth during the piercing "williwaw", they have a successful hunt, a merry feast on their return, and at the end, Lokoshi receives a wonderful surprise. and takes a giant step toward manhood. Rarely has anyone captured, in both text and pictures, such an intimate and revealing picture of the native people of Alaska.

The firm did typogrpahy and lithography as well as archive photography. The address given is 2621 East 5th Avenue.
