Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. Large 8vo, pictorial printed wrappers, 4pp. + slightly smaller insert for the Program, held at the Chess, Checkers & Whist Club, 128 Bourbon Street (inclusive of a highly jocular menu), printed on altogether more conventional paper. On upper wrapper cover, "OZALID PRINT by DIETZGEN," likely made by the New Orleans Blue Print and Supply Co. Inc. A curiosity in the history of printing technology, the OZALID PROCES involved treating paper with a chemical ("diazol" specifically, it being an anagram for Ozalid) to generate positive images from other media. It was, in effect, an early solution to the need for a photocopy process, although one which never took hold by becoming commercially viable. Examples are uncommon. Very slight wrinkling, but a Very Good copy.
