The August 1928 issue of the Modern Priscilla. "Combined with Home Needlework Magazine and Everyday Housekeeping" printed on title page. The Modern Priscilla was a magazine that focused on needlecraft, housekeeping, and similar subjects. The magazine was founded in 1887 and was published until 1930. In addition to domestic subjects, the Modern Priscilla included features such as news articles and short fiction. Many of the patterns referenced in the Modern Priscilla had to be purchased separately.
