The chapters focus on specific writers and their work, provided personal and literary history. The first chapter is on Edward Abbey, the last on Nancy Wood. There is a final chapter titled "The Others". This copy is number 12 of the 100 copies signed by Mr. Luther and his artist wife Marilyn. Mr. Luther also added an inscription to John Nichols, one of the book's subject. Ms. Luther contributes four Pen & ink illustrations within. Signed by Author(s).
