Hardcover. Condition: Good. Limited/Numbered. Hardcovers, 4 volumes bound in faux blue leather spines over blue paper covered boards. Privately printed for subscribers of the Casanova Society. Illustrated with four color frontispieces. Rendered from the literal and complete version of Dr. J.C. Mardrus; and collated with other sources; by E. Powys Mathers. This being set number 1656 on Bond paper, of a limited edition of 2250 copies, the first 750 of which were printed in 16 volumes. No previous ownership marks. Book blocks are untrimmed at fore-edge and bottom, top edges are gilt. Binding are worn with wear to head and heels of spines and quarter inch gouge to spine on volume IV. A sound, internally clean set in cosmetically worn bindings, albeit books are sound with strong hinges tight book blocks and clean pages. Good set. Photographs on request. A heavy set, Priority and International orders will require additional postage.
