BINDING: Hardbound in blue cloth with gold lettering on the spine, 265 pages. DUST JACKET: There are actually two different dust jackets on the book, both priced 7.95 on the front flap. One has a one inch blind tear at the top front and a small nick in the front flap crease, the other has a minor bit of wrinkle at the bottom rear edge. Overall condition of both is very good. BOOK CONDITION: The book is very good, clean inside and out and the binding is tight, corners sharp and lettering bright. DESCRIPTION: Lengthy inscription on the half title page to a Capt. James Bickerton and signed by the author. Illustrated. Introduction by Senator Ernest Gruening and epilogue by Major General C. F. Necrason.
