Uncommon edition of A Child's Garden Of Verses by Robert Louis Stevenson, a Mary Perks Hardcover, [56] pp (unpaginated), Book distributed exclusively by The American Crayon Co. of Sandusky, Ohio. There is both a 1942 and a 1943 copyright by John Sherman Bagg, both on the same page. With illustrations in black, white & yellow ink. Nice endpapers also decorated in the same colors. Unfortunately, no credit is given to the illustrator. In acceptable condition/ NO dust jacket. Blue illustrated Paper over Boards have some chipping and tearing to the paper at the corner tips and along the spine. Moderate overall scuffing, aging and soiling to covers as well. Sewn binding is a little pulled but still intact with a few pages starting to split along the center seam but still attached. Previous owner's (child) name in pencil on top corner of front paste-down. Otherwise pages are lightly aged but unmarked.There are additional stories included after A Child's Garden of Verses including The Elves and the Shoemaker, All Around the Mulberry Book, and others.
