Mr. Weaver founded the Northland Press in 1959 and made it the finest press on Indian life in the Southwest. In 1979 the New York Times wrote an article on it entitled: Publishing: When a Small Press Becomes Popular. It notes that he published small print runs as low as 100 copies to no more than 3,000. This copy is signed by 15 of the artists including Fritz Scholder, R.C. Gorman, Allen Houser plus the two editors with the top of the autograph page in calligraphy "Publisher's Copy Paul Weaver." Fine copy in a fine slipcase.
