Contributors, called clients by Morley, include: Hilaire Belloc, Stephen Vincent Benet, William Rose Benet, Edna St. Vincent Millay, Ramon Guthrie, William McFee, Elinor Wylie and many others. Morley's one criterion was that he found the verses "recurring to my mind of their own vitality."
