The covers are soiled and stained and there are some short green crayon lines on the rear cover. 147 & [144] pages plus the colophon, illustrated with a color frontispiece and 33 black & white aquatone plates. THE BOOK IS LACKING THE COLOR FOLDING MAP AT BACK. The front hinge is starting to crack and the endpapers are slightly foxed. A bookplate of a sailing ship is mounted at the bottom of the front pastedown. A good working copy. Limited edition of 501 numbered copies printed by the printing house of Williman Edwin Rudge.
