THE BOOK IS IN FINE CONDITION WITH THE PAGES TIGHT AND CLEAN . THE AUTHORS MAKE THE CLAIM THAT THE MAN KILLED BY FBI AGENTS IN AN ALLEY OUTSIDE OF THE BIOGRAPH THEATER IN 1934 CHICAGO WAS NOT JOHN DILLINGER. THE REASONS FOR THEIR CLAIM IS BASED PRIMARILY ON SEVERAL FACIAL FEATURES INCLUDING EYE COLORS AND FACIAL SCARS IN LIFE AND IN THE MORGUE AND OTHER FEATURES. THERE ARE 52 GLOSSY B/W PHOTOGRAPHS OF JOHN DILLINGER FROM HIS CHILDHOOD UNTIL HIS DEATH THAT INCLUDE HIS COLLEAGUES, GIRL FRIENDS, LAWYERS, POLICE OFFICIALS, MULTIPLE MORGUE PHOTOGRAPHS AND. MULTIPLE DOCUMENTS THAT ARE OFFERED TO SUPPORT THE AUTHOR'S CLAIM. THE FACT REMAINS THAT JOHN DILLINGER NEVER AGAIN APPEARED IN PUBLIC NEARLY 90 YEARS AFTER HIS WELL PUBLICIZED DEATH.
