The book was purchased at the Dreier estate in Southwest Harbor, Maine. Margaret Dreier Robins was a fellow progressive activist on women's issues, immigration, prison reform, etc. etc. Her sister Mary Dreier and Mary's partner Frances Kellor lived for many summers at the house and were very active social reformers as well and this book came from their library.
