The Original 1865 edition is too rare and not obtainable, hence the editor Martin Hall and Edwin Davis created this special extra illustrated private press edition on handmade paper. with two maps and charts. The full title being A Campaign from Santa Fe To The Mississippi being a history of the Old Sibley Brigade from its First Organization To The Present Time: Its Campaigns in New Mexico, Arizona, Texas, Louisiana, and Arkansas in The Years 1861 to 1864. The Brigade won many battles for Texas and The Confederacy, including the victory at Galveston. At the end of the war, the brigade returned to the haven of Texas.
