Small hardback. Dotzie just can't keep from singing and dancing, and she keeps all the farm animals happy. But over and over again she splashes mud on the very patient farmer, who finally says, "Off to the woods she must go, where ducks are wild. Such a duck cannot stay on my farm. Original publisher's color pictorial paper covered two-part cardboard box with the slightest hint of wear at the corners for what is a near pristine example of the box. Full color pictorial endpapers. [40] pp. This rebus book, i.e. a book where some of the words are replaced with pictures that suggest the words, tells the story of a mischievous cow named Katherine, whose owner can't even give her away. By the end of the tale, Katherine has become the heroine of her farm; two leaves with a repaired, short closed tear to the bottom edge of the leaf, one 1/4" long and the other one 1/2" long. The condition of both the book and the original publisher's box is NEAR FINE. Only five copies located on OCLC/WorldCat. RARE, especially in such nice condition and in the box.
