Primera y única edición hasta la fecha del libro de Fernande Olivier, que fue publicado originalmente en Francés por la Librairie Stock en 1933. Esta edición incluye también la traducción del prólogo a cargo de Paul Leutaud, que también aparecía en la edición original de 1933. Picasso y Olivier fueron pareja entre 1905 y 1912 aproximadamente, coincidiendo con la etapa Rosa y con el nacimiento del Cubismo. Ella viajó con Picasso a Barcelona en 1906, y de ahí fueron al pueblo pirenaico de Gosol, donde nacieron las primeras obras que apuntaban al cambio hacia las Señoritas de Avignon. Picasso decía que una de las figuras de este cuadro era ella. También fue testigo de primera línea del nacimiento del cubismo, y está retratada en varias obras. 158 pp. rústica.
