Hard Cover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. No dustwrapper, minor wear to spine ends and corners of brown boards, a few tiny water-marks on back cover, a mark to top edges of boards from where the book has been part of a bundle tied with string(?), but otherwise a good clean tight copy of this hard-cover book. One of the Early English Text Society publications (number 171), contains the text (in original Middle English) of the mid-fifteenth century religious work "The Reule of Chtysten Religioun" by Reginald Pecock, who was Bishop of St Asaph and of Chichester; edited and with introduction, glossary, etc by William Cabell Greet. Signed by Greet to original owner on f/ep "To . from Cabell Greet, 1 Oct 1928". 539pp plus 8pp adverts, b&w frontispiece with tissue-guard (which is loose but still present) Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
