Script housed in a blue three-ring binder with approximately 100 pages of production documents, including (in addition to the script) cast and crew contact lists, filming permits, location lists, and shooting schedules. Loosely based on the 1979 French film directed by René Gainville, in turn based on Jenaro Prieto's 1928 novel. After years of struggling to succeed as a Black woman on Wall Street, an ambitious businesswoman decides to start her own investment firm in the name of a fictitious white man, Robert Cutty. The ruse begins to break down, however, when associates and clients begin to demand to meet with Cutty in person. Set and shot on location in New York. Title page present, dated 02/15/96, with credit for screenwriter Nick Thiel. 157 leaves, with last page of text numbered 131.
